THE CAMP AMICHAI EXPERIENCE
EMUNAH
Machaneh Amichai strengthens the campers Jewish and Zionist identity and faith through tefillah, workshops and shiurim, discussion groups on various Jewish subjects, all aimed at bringing Torah and love of Eretz Yisrael alive.
TIYULIM
Experienced tour guides and the amazing madrichim lead the campers on half-day and day-long tours to beautiful sites in Israel. Our campers enjoy the Golan’s beauty and the many attractions the area offers, and feel the connection by walking in the footsteps of both ancient and modern Jewish heroes.
SPORTS
The diverse sports program includes basketball, soccer, volleyball, frizbee,hockey and baseball as well as swimming and flag football.
CHUGIM
A wide range of chugim are offered, such as drama, arts and crafts, jewellery-making, photgraphy, painting, dance, navigation, tzitzit-making, zumba, sport, machanayim and theatre.
MEALTIMES
Meals are fun at Camp Amichai, full of ruach and singing. The meals are well-balanced and the food is great! Special food requirements are catered for.
NIGHT ACTIVITIES
In the evening, campers enjoy a varied night program, including campfires, erev tzava, talent shows, capture the flag, basketball and soccer leagues and exciting tochniot prepared by the madrichim.
SHABBAT
Campers share three inspiring, never-to-be-forgotten Shabbatot at Camp Amichai. Conducted in the traditional Bnei Akiva style, Shabbat includes moving tefillot, lively zemirot, inspiring shiurim and Divrei Torah, and the unique Shabbat atmosphere that only Bnei Akiva can provide!

We’re located in Acco in the beautiful north of Israel. Our site has a green countryside atmosphere with an incredible view of the sea.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Grade 3 and 4 - Mini Amichai
Mini Amichai – Maxi Amichai Adventure - for campers completing 3rd and 4th grades.
Mini Amichai is back this summer, now with an extra day of fun and adventure. Designed especially for younger campers, the program offers a taste of the full Camp Amichai experience in a warm, nurturing environment.
Campers will enjoy sports, creative chugim, swimming, dynamic peulot, a special tiyul day, and select activities together with Shevet Nevatzim (4th–5th grade), helping them feel part of the wider Amichai family.
Rooted in Torah values and conducted in Hebrew, Mini Amichai focuses on friendship, confidence, independence, and vibrant camp ruach. The program is led by a dedicated Rosh Mini Amichai and an experienced, caring madrichim team, with full camp leadership support.

Yachad
A unique and attractive vocational program is offered for staff with special needs. Yachad participants are offered opportunities to develop skills and talents with the support and guidance of their coordinators. Yachad participants enjoy enriching activities, working on camp and professional workshops. Yachad assist with running chugim, sports, technical and office support and they are responsible for the camp email and postal system. Our campers love the integration and interaction that is created with Yachad at Amichai. Strong bonds are made through the wonderful experiences that campers share with Yachad
Beit Midrash
Camp Amichai has a vibrant Beit Midrash led by senior tzevet. It is designed to make Torah exciting and lively. Each age group has peulot in the Beit Midrash and the opportunity to set extra chevruta times. Shiurim are also available during the day. The Beit Midrash team are involved in the everyday running of the chinuch at camp and are responsible for some of the special camp programs and projects.
Sayeret Chaim
(completing Grade 10)
Sayeret Chaim is a unique program for the Shevet completing Grade 10. Campers enjoy stimulating activities, tours, sports and attractions. Sayeret Chaim experience the country through navigation, challenging tiyulim and visits to fascinating places. The program includes leadership workshops, volunteering and enriched learning. Chaim explore the Golan, enjoy a 4 day miyam leyam in style, unforgettable Shabbatot at camp, Jerusalem, Mitzpeh Ramon, Negev desert hikes and star gazing, Eilat (yes you read that right), Snorkeling and water sports, friends, fun at camp and more!
